Mentoring is a proven framework that allows an experienced person to engage and empower a less experienced person, assisting them to  discover their own potential and grow stronger from that relationship.

Big Brothers Big Sisters EBOP recruits, trains and supports volunteer mentors who spend between 1 and 4 hours per week with a primary aged child across 2 core programs - School Based and Community Based - Our children are often from complex family histories and have experienced adversity that no child should have to. BBBS aims to create and sustain long term mentoring relationships, providing a positive, caring and reliable Big Brother or Sister every week for a minimum of 12 months.

It takes a village to raise a child is an age old adage that is at the core of the mahi we do - we are looking to create and sustain relationships with local businesses and organisations to enable life changing opportunities for our young people - we are excited to host you all and are looking forward to sharing more of our kaupapa and local stories.
