Yolandi is the latest edition to the team, and new to Whakatane.   

Yolandi has lived in New Zealand for almost 4 years and before that she used to call Cape Town her home. She’s married and has a little boy and together they live in a quaint little house in the heart of Whakatane. When they are not on outings and fun hiking excursions, they like taking their trailer and going camping and exploring this beautiful country.

Yolandi is passionate about plants, interior design, minimalism, branding, product photography and a good aesthetic that is pleasing to the eye always makes her heartbeat faster.
Her other talents are graphic design, print consulting, playing guitar and she can also drink copious amounts of coffee and doesn’t quite understand why she struggles to sleep at night.

She has a passion for small business, frequenting quirky cafés to work on her caffeine intake and networking which is why she has taken over this position.

Yolandi is our Marketing and Events Coordinator so she will be taking care of our WIB events, BA5’s, Business Awards events and many more. She is passionate about marketing and human behaviour fascinates her.

Yolandi brings a wealth of experience in making events special and meaningful, but also really listening to the problems businesses are facing and coming alongside them to bring solutions and resources to help.

She looks forward to working alongside the Chamber team and our valued members to achieve greatness and excellence.
