David Turner emigrated from Canada to New Zealand in his mid-twenties and has been living and working in N.Z. and Australia since. David has held senior positions in multiple industries that include Telecommunications, e-commerce, Natural products and Sport and leisure. 

David is a true all-rounder having worked in Publicly listed, SME and start-up businesses and operating in B2B, B2C and export environments.   A keen outdoorsman that spends most of his leisure time in remote parts of the bay, David has an affinity for the sustainability and development of businesses in this region. While basing himself in Whakatane, David will be also spending time further afield when required...

David spent most of last year at the Chamber as a business advisor working with local companies on a variety of issues and opportunities.  David will now be working as the Regional Growth Advisor for the Eastern Bay and is the local point of contact for businesses and Service Providers that have registered with the Regional Business Partners program. If you have an interest in learning about the resources available through the RBP he would be pleased to set aside time to discuss with you.
