Alex started her journey with the Eastern Bay Chamber in February 2023 and has immersed herself in her role.  

Alex returned to Whakatane seven years ago to start a family, since then she has been busy raising 3 sons while working part time for her parents' local businesses. She has a passion for small business, relationship building and events which is why she took the leap and applied for the new role with the Chamber.

When not working for the Chamber of Commerce, Alex lives on a lifestyle block in Wainui with her partner and boys, she enjoys being outdoors, good coffee and fashion. In the weekends you will find her on an adventure with her kids, tending to her vegetable garden or wining and dining with family and friends.

Alex is our Membership and Relationship Manager, so all our lucky members will get to see her a lot more as she gets to know everyone. She has hit the ground running and has already met many members in the short amount of time she has been here. Alex brings a wealth of experience in customer service and relationship advocacy and is looking forward to working alongside the Chamber team and our valued members.
