I was born and bred in Whakatane and am proudly a dairy farmers daughter from Awakeri.

I have been the Chief Executive Officer for the Disabilities Resource Centre Trust for the past twenty-one years.  I have served on the Chamber of Commerce for twelve years with two tenures as President.

I have been a Trustee for TOI-EDA and have proudly served as the New Zealand President for the Federation of Disabilities Information Centre's.

I have over twenty years of Governance and Senior Management experience; and believe that we need to have a strong voice in the Eastern Bay of Plenty for both Business and the Community. I want the Chamber to be an influence over Business and Economic Development across the Eastern Bay of Plenty.

We need to hear the voice of our members and provide a platform for them to share their views.
