I am married to Sarah and have three children, two at Allandale Primary and one at Intermediate. I can often be found as an MC at local events and have been an involved member of the community since we arrived in Whakatane in 2006. I met a lot of the business locals through my role as a business manager for the National Bank and later as branch manager. In 2012 after leaving banking I started my own business called Bullseye Productions NZ utilising my training in voice and video production skills.
I am a keen musician playing guitar and bass and I give back to the community through my roles as trustee for Life Education Trust, committee member for the Beacon Business & Leisure Show and I am currently chairman of the Allandale School Board of Trustees.
I also regularly offer my business services for sponsorship to non-profit organisations.
With a background in business banking, I believe I bring experience in governance and building good quality relationships. I have good business networks in and out of the region and base my business dealings on integrity and honesty.
Business at every level is important, no matter what size the business is and I like to encourage business owners to do what they can to achieve their goals.
I am an advocate for the tools provided to chamber members having used NZTE funding and discounts to secure a business mentor which has changed how I do business on a daily basis.
