Q. What is the date period for eligible businesses to enter?
A. The HEG Business Excellence Awards open on Tuesday 13th April and close at 4.00pm, Friday 28th May 2021.
Q. How do I learn more about the entry process?
A. We can run complimentary category workshops if required. You will get tips and information on what to include in your entry and how to best showcase your business. Alternatively you can contact an Eastern Bay Chamber of Commerce team member at firstname.lastname@example.org / 07 219 3827
Q. How does an organisation choose which category to enter?
A. Many businesses will be eligible for multiple categories. You should choose the category that most suits the emphasis you wish to highlight in your entry.
Q. How many categories can our organisation enter?
A. Any business or organisation can enter one category.
Judges will have the discretion to consider all entries as contenders for any of the specialty categories, as well as for the of the Horizon Supreme Award
Q. Is there a cost to entering?
A. There is no cost to enter the Horizon Business Excellence Awards. You will however need to purchase your tickets to the Gala Dinner on Saturday 14th August 2021
Q. What if the judges recognise we have a strength in another category, but I have not entered it?
A. If the judges recognise a strength in your business, and believe you should be placed within another category they can opt you in with the of approval yourself and the Lead Judge.

Q. Do I need to attend the Awards night if I am a finalist?
A. Yes, if you are selected as a finalist you are required to have at least one representative present at the Awards night on August 14 2021, this is to ensure there is someone there to represent the business and to accept the Award if you are the winner.
